Abusive tweets sometimes get people banned from Twitter. But this is too funny…
A Japanese man got a message from Twitter saying his account had been frozen and cannot be reactivated because he made a death threat against a mosquito.
@nemuismywife added a picture of a dead mosquito he killed after biting him, on his tweet , on 20 August.
He wrote: “Where do you get off biting me all over while I’m just trying to relax and watch TV? Die! (Actually you’re already dead).” He added a picture of a dead insect to his tweet.
Unfortunately, he received a message from Twitter saying his account has been banned. He set up a new Twitter account, @DaydreamMatcha, to criticize Twitter for banning him over a mosquito.
He tweeted: “My previous account was permanently frozen after I said I killed a mosquito. Is this a violation?”
His tweet went viral with a lot of people calling out the social platform and asking them to reactivate his account.
